Parishioners at St. Cecilia seek the parish family as a primary community to serve and to be served—to give and to receive. If a parishioner finds they can serve and be ministered to, they have little need to search elsewhere for this fulfillment. Likewise, they have recognized a place where service is appreciated and utilized for the good of the Church. As missionary disciples, we strive to promote active participation in parish service and community outreach.
Service
Jesus Christ teaches that whenever we welcome one of the least of our sisters and brothers, we welcome Christ himself. St. Cecilia Parishioners seek to see the face of Christ in one another. We strive to build a welcoming community, ensuring a strong sense of belonging for all.
Prayer disposes souls to receive God’s abundant graces, which are necessary to grow in holiness. It is through prayer that parishioners of St. Cecilia Catholic Church nurture their personal relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As a stewardship parish, we strive to foster individual and shared prayer lives and promote reverent liturgical worship.
We focus on educating and enhancing the faith of our parishioners in accordance with the four branches of the Catholic Catechism: beliefs, sacraments, morals, and prayer. We strive to promote growth in knowledge and faith and equip them to evangelize and share the Good News of Christ.
