“A SYMPHONY OF STEWARDSHIP”
Stewardship is the grateful response of a Christian disciple who recognizes and receives God’s gifts and shares those gifts with God and neighbor. Every parishioner has a unique gift that contributes to the beauty and mission of the Church—like instruments in a symphony. As disciples of Christ, parishioners of St. Cecilia respond gratefully to God for all He has given us through a commitment to live the stewardship way of life.
“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.” - 1 Corinthians 12:4
Each year, St. Cecilia parishioners are asked to personally discern living a stewardship way of life. During
our annual “Symphony of Stewardship Campaign”, all parishioners are asked to make pledges to pray,
participate, and give for the upcoming year and submit a Stewardship Commitment Form.
Stewardship
Through the Pillars of Stewardship—Hospitality, Prayer, Formation, and Service—each parishioner is invited to experience, witness, and live as a steward in response to his or her baptismal call to discipleship, to follow Jesus and imitate Him. Our parish groups, called Apostolates, provide opportunities for parishioners to serve as missionary disciples, to live the stewardship way of life, and to fulfill the priorities of the parish.
